Designed by Jorge Zalszupin in 1959, this armchair stands as a testament to Zalszupin's pursuit of aesthetic freedom through technological advancements. The molded laminated rosewood, employed skillfully, enabled Zalszupin to create curves without the need for extensive manual processes. The ‘Presidencial’ series—including both the armchairs and sofa—also reflect Zalszupin's commitment to embracing new materials and technologies for efficient series production.

A rare find, this wider than usual seat of the chair gives the chair its ‘presidential’ characteristic, while the curved laminated rosewood on slim chrome feet ensures that the chair still feels light and organic. 

This armchair features original Jacaranda moulded laminate and chrome metallic feet. Made to measure seat and back cushion using bouclé textile available upon request.
